CHICAGO — Police are looking for a man they said robbed seven businesses in two months on the North Side.
During the robberies, the man walked into a business and demanded cash, according to a Chicago Police business alert. The man implied he had a gun during one robbery and, during another, carried a knife.
The robberies occurred:
• 1:50 a.m. May 12 in the 2800 block of North Ashland Avenue
• 3 a.m. May 13 in the 3900 block of North Sheridan Road
• 2:34 a.m. May 30 in the 2800 block of North Ashland Avenue
• 10:53 p.m. May 30 in the 2400 block of North Milwaukee Avenue
• 9:37 a.m. June 21 in the 4400 block of West Grand Avenue
• 9:52 a.m. June 21 in the 4700 block of West North Avenue
• 7:33 p.m. June 21 in the 1900 block of West Fullerton Avenue
The robber was described as a white or Hispanic man who was 30 to 40 years old, 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-11 and 200-280 pounds, police said. He has worn various baseball hats and black shirts and black T-shirts.
