CHICAGO — A 17-year-old was killed in a shooting in Gage Park on Sunday night, police said.
At 10:40 p.m., the teen was outside of a Marathon gas station in the 5200 block of South Western Avenue when a white car pulled up, police said. The teen started arguing with the people in the car, and the car's passenger pulled out a gun and fired shots.
The teen was hit multiple times and pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The teen was identified as Alfredo Lozna, of the 3000 block of West 54th street, according to the Medical Examiner's office. He fired back at the people in the car, but it was unknown if anyone else was wounded in the shooting, police said. Lozna's gun was found.
No one was in custody.
