CHICAGO — A 44-year-old man was stabbed to death Saturday morning in Austin, officials said.
About 5 a.m., officers were called to the 1600 block of North Menard Avenue and found the man, who was unresponsive, said Officer Brandy Wright, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.
The man had been arguing and fighting with another man and a woman when he was stabbed multiple times, Wright said. He was taken to Loyola University Medical Center.
Andre Baker, of the 1000 block of North Monticello Avenue, was pronounced dead at 5:27 a.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office. An autopsy showed Baker died from multiple sharp force injuries in a homicide.
No one as in custody.
