Timothy Ermon, 24, Dies After Being Pulled From River Near Trump Tower

CHICAGO — A 24-year-old man died after divers pulled him out of the Chicago River near Trump Tower early Saturday, police said.

The police department's marine unit pulled the man out after responding to a call of a person in the water at 2:04 a.m. in the 400 block of North Wabash Avenue.

The man was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he died at 3:19 a.m.

The man was identified as Timothy Ermon, of the 2300 block of West 103rd Street, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.

Police are treating the incident as a death investigation.
