Wu-Tang Clan To Play Whole 1st Album At Riot Fest; Danzig Plans Danzig III

 

Danzig & Wu-Tang join Dinosaur Jr., Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Built To Spill, Fishbone, Bayside, Mayday Parade, Lawrence Arms, and That Dog in playing full-album sets at Riot Fest! Single-day and two-day tickets on sale tomorrow at 10 AM central time at RiotFest.org.

CHICAGO — More details of this September's Riot Fest were announced Thursday, including news that Wu-Tang Clan will play its entire debut album and Danzig will play "Danzig III."

The fest runs Sept. 15-17 at Douglas Park. Wu-Tang is scheduled to play Saturday, Sept. 16. Danzig plays the same night.

Wu-Tang's "Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)" from 1993 will be performed in its entirety, Riot Fest announced. Danzig's "Danzig III: How The Gods Kill" came out in 1992.

Previously announced full-album performances include Dinosaur Jr. ("You’re Living All Over Me"), The Mighty Mighty Bosstones ("Let’s Face It"), Built to Spill ("Keep It Like A Secret"), Fishbone ("Truth & Soul"), Bayside ("The Walking Wounded"), Mayday Parade ("A Lesson In Romantics"), The Lawrence Arms ("Oh, Calcutta!") and that dog ("Retreat From the Sun").
