Trump Asked 'What The Hell Is Going On' In Chicago ... But It Backfired

DOWNTOWN — President Donald Trump tried to criticize Chicago during a Wednesday rally — but his remarks quickly turned into a joke on Twitter.

"Look at Chicago. What the hell is going on in Chicago? What's that all about?" Trump asked during a rally in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

A reporter from the Toronto Star, Daniel Dale, shared the quotation on Twitter. It prompted more than 100 people to jokingly respond: Well, there's nice weather. The Cubs and Sox are a disappointment. The food's good.

"What the hell is going on in D.C.?" one quipped.
