CHICAGO — Shootings have killed three people and wounded seven since Tuesday, police said.

• At 4:11 a.m. Wednesday, a woman was shot to death on the Skyway in an apparent murder-suicide.

• At 1:15 a.m., a 34-year-old man was shot and killed while sitting in a car in Garfield Ridge.

• At 8:40 p.m. Tuesday, a 26-year-old man was gunned down in the Near West Side. Two others were wounded in the attack.

In non-fatal shootings:

• At 8:20 p.m. Tuesday, a 20-year-old man was shot in Avalon Park, police said. The man was walking in the 8100 block of South Stony Island Avenue when a car pulled up and someone inside fired shots at him.

The man was hit in his stomach and thigh and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in serious condition, police said.

The man is a documented gang member, a police source said.

• At 6:20 p.m., a 15-year-old boy and 16-year-old boy were shot in Austin, police said. The teens were walking in the 5000 block of West West End Avenue when a white car pulled up and someone inside fired shots at them.

The 15-year-old was hit in his right foot and was taken to Stroger Hospital while the 16-year-old was hit in his left knee and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital. The boys were in good condition, police said.

• Also at 6:20 p.m., a 22-year-old man was wounded in a shooting in Back of the Yards, police said. The man was in the 4400 block of South Hermitage Avenue when his hand was grazed by a bullet.

The man refused medical attention, police said.

The man is a documented gang member, a police source said.

• At 5:49 p.m., a 24-year-old man was shot in Little Village.

No one was in custody in these shootings.
