CHICAGO — A 33-year-old man was shot and killed in Humboldt Park early Monday, police said.
At 2:30 a.m., officers responding to a call of a person shot found the man lying on the sidewalk in the 1000 block of North Lawndale Avenue, police said.
The man had been shot in his back.
The man was identified as Deandre Robinson, of the 300 Block of North Latrobe Street, according to the Medical Examiner's Office. He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, police said.
The man was a documented gang member, a police source said.
No one was in custody.
