CHICAGO — Shootings have killed two people and wounded 12 since Thursday, police said.

• At 11:14 p.m. Thursday, a 17-year-old was gunned down in Austin.

• At 4:45 p.m., a 78-year-old man was shot and killed while standing outside in West Englewood. The man was not the intended target, police said.

In non-fatal shootings:

• At 4:30 a.m. Friday, a 31-year-old man was shot in Avalon Park, police said. The man was inside a fast food business in the 8400 block of South Stony Island Avenue when he got into an argument with two people.

During the argument, one of the people took out a gun and fired shots at the man, police said. The man was hit in his back and arm and his head was grazed by a bullet. He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in serious condition.

Two persons of interest were being interviewed, police said.

• At 3:05 a.m., a 28-year-old man was shot in Garfield Park, police said. The man was walking on the sidewalk in the 200 block of North Hamlin Avenue when someone walked up to him and fired shots.

The man was hit in his right arm and he took himself to West Suburban Medical Center, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

• At 11:06 p.m. Thursday, a 25-year-old man was shot in Austin, police said. The man was standing on the sidewalk in the 5300 block of West Adams Street when someone fired at him from across the street.

The man was hit in his right buttocks and was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

The man was a documented gang member, a police source said.

• At 10:30 p.m., three men were shot in Humboldt Park.

• At 10:20 p.m., a 32-year-old man was shot in Auburn Gresham, police said. The man was standing on the sidewalk in the 8800 block of South Wallace Street when he heard shots and felt pain.

The man was hit in his buttocks and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical center, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

The man was a documented gang member, a police source said.

• At 9:18 p.m., a 23-year-old man was shot in Belmont Gardens in the Avondale area.

• At 8:25 p.m., a 21-year-old man was shot on Michigan Avenue near Millennium Park.

• At 4:45 p.m., a 53-year-old man was shot in Grand Crossing, police said. The man was in the 7100 block of South State Street when he was shot in his left arm and thigh.

The man was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

No further information was immediately available.

• At 4:05 p.m., an 18-year-old man was shot in Avondale.

• At 3:15 p.m., a 23-year-old man was shot in Grand Crossing, police said. The man was standing with his friends on a home's back porch in the 6900 block of South King Drive when two people fired shots at them.

The man was hit in his upper back and left shoulder and was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

The attackers ran away, police said.

No one was in custody in these shootings unless otherwise noted.
