CHICAGO — Shootings have wounded two people since Wednesday, police said.

• At 8:25 p.m. Wednesday, a 41-year-old man was shot in Burnside, police said. The man was sitting on a car in the 9000 block of South University Avenue when someone in a white SUV pulled up and a person in the car fired shots at the man.

The man was hit in his right forearm and he was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

• At 12:57 p.m., a 23-year-old man was shot in Burnside, police said. The man was walking in the 9400 block of South St. Lawrence Avenue when someone in a four-door, green car fired shots at the man.

The man was hit in his left leg and he was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in good condition, police said.

No one was in custody in these shootings.
