CHICAGO — A 33-year-old man was shot near the border of Beverly and Washington Heights early Wednesday, police said.
At 6 a.m., the man was sitting on the front porch of a home in the 10500 block of South Vincennes Avenue when he heard a shot and felt pain, police said.
The man was hit in his neck and he was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in critical condition, police said.
No one was in custody.
