CHICAGO — A school bus and a motorcycle crashed Monday morning in Roseland, officials said.
Eight people were injured in the crash, which happened about 6:44 a.m. in the 10900 block of South Michigan Avenue, a Chicago Fire Department spokesman posted on Twitter.
Those injured included:
• A 37-year-old man, the driver of the motorcycle, who was taken to Christ Medical Center in serious condition
• A 15-year-old boy, who was taken to Comer Children's Hospital
• A 50-year-old woman, who was taken to Roseland Community Hospital
• A 19-year-old man, who was taken to Roseland Community Hospital
• A 17-year-old was taken to Roseland Community Hospital
• A 15-year-old girl was taken to Metro South Medical Center
• A 17-year-old was taken to Roseland Community Hospital
• A 16-year-old was taken to Comer Children's Hospital
All of the victims were listed as "stable," police said, except for the motorcycle driver.
