CHICAGO — An 18-year-old man was in serious condition after being shot on the border of the Dunning and Belmont Cragin neighborhoods Monday morning, police said.
At 8:52 a.m., the man was "involved in an altercation" in the 6200 block of West Belmont Avenue with someone who pulled out a gun and shot him in his legs and abdomen, according to a statement from Chicago Police.
The man was brought to Loyola University Medical Center, where he was listed in serious condition.
No one was in custody, police said.
