RAVENSWOOD — After a successful inaugural year, the Ravenswood Farmers Market makes its return Wednesday.
In addition to farm fresh fruits and vegetables, market vendors will also have baked and canned goods for sale, along with art and handmade products. Ms. Tittles Cupcakes and Piko Street food trucks will be on site as well.
Laura Doherty kicks off the live entertainment with a kids concert from 4-6 p.m. A playground opens at 6 p.m., and there will be additional crafts and activities for children, including water balloons and painting with celery.
There's even something for dogs: free doggie ice cream and "pupcicles."
The market will run 4-8 p.m. every Wednesday through Oct. 18, 4900 N. Damen Ave.
