Tryce Carver, 27, Found Shot To Death In Chatham

CHICAGO — A 27-year-old man was found shot to death in Chatham on Tuesday night, police said.

At 9:27 p.m., the man was found in the 7900 block of South Wabash Avenue, police said. He had been shot multiple times throughout his body.

The man was taken to Stroger Hospital, police said.

Tryce Carver, of the 7800 block of South Indiana Avenue, was pronounced dead at 10:02 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office. An autopsy showed he died from multiple gunshots wounds in a homicide.

Carver was a documented gang member, a police source said.

No one was in custody.
