CHICAGO — Shootings over the weekend killed seven people and wounded 35, police said.

Among those victims were one person killed and eight wounded since Sunday morning.

• At 12:25 p.m. Sunday, a 22-year-old woman was gunned down in Logan Square. Her attacker later took his own life, police said.

In non-fatal shootings:

• At 11:26 p.m. Sunday, a 39-year-old man was shot in Garfield Park, police said. The man was standing on the sidewalk in the 4300 block of West Van Buren Street when someone in a dark-colored car fired shots at him.

The man was hit in his abdomen and legs and was taken to Stroger Hospital in serious condition, police said.

The man was a documented gang member, a police source said.

• At 8:42 p.m., a 22-year-old man was shot in South Shore, police said. The man was in the 2600 block of East 74th Street when he was shot in his arm.

The man refused medical attention at the scene, police said, and no further information was immediately available.

• At 5:45 p.m., three men were shot and wounded in Humboldt Park.

• At 2:28 p.m., a 23-year-old man was shot near the border of Park Manor and Woodlawn, police said. The man was walking in the 6700 block of South Langley Avenue when a dark-colored car drove up and someone inside the car fired shots at the man.

The man was hit in his back and arm and was taken to Northwestern Hospital. His condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

• At 11:02 a.m., a 20-year-old man was shot in Austin, police said. The man was walking in an alley in the 5500 block of West Jackson Boulevard when someone walking in the same direction fired shots at him.

The man was hit in his right hip and left leg and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious condition, police said.

The man was a documented gang member, a police source said.

• At 9:55 a.m., a 29-year-old man was shot in Little Village.

No one was in custody in these shootings.

Shootings killed three people and wounded 14 between Saturday and Sunday, and three people were killed and 13 wounded Friday to Saturday.
