CHICAGO — Lee Kline, 28, was killed in a hit-and-run Tuesday in Gage Park, officials said.
At 2:45 a.m., the man was crossing the street in the 2300 block of West Garfield Boulevard when he was hit by a car, police said. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital.
Kline, of the 5900 block of South Damen, was pronounced dead at 3:37 a.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office. An autopsy showed he died from multiple blunt force injuries in an accident.
Police said the incident was a hit-and-run and there was no description of the car.
