Oscar Bravo, 25, Dies Three Days After Gage Park Shooting

GAGE PARK — Oscar Bravo, 25, died three days after being shot in Gage Park, police said.

At 12:52 p.m. May 24, Bravo was standing on the sidewalk in the 2600 block of West 54th Street when a man in a red minivan got out of a car and fired shots, police said.

Bravo was hit in his upper right back and left hip and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition, police said. 

Bravo, of the 5300 block of South Western Avenue, was pronounced dead at 2:23 p.m. Saturday, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.

No one was in custody.
