Two Southeast Side Women Killed In Sunday Car Crash, Authorities Say

CHICAGO — A Sunday morning car crash left two people dead in South Deering on Sunday.

At 4:45 a.m., a car was going south in the 10300 block of South Commercial Avenue when it hit a parked semi, police said. The driver and someone else in the car were killed, police said.

The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office on Sunday night identified the two women killed as Abril Elapaz. 26, and Brisa Elapaz, 26.
