CHICAGO — Shootings have killed three people and wounded five since Monday, police said.

• At 2:11 a.m. Tuesday, a 28-year-old man was shot and killed in East Side.

• At 7:52 p.m. Monday, a 27-year-old man was fatally shot while driving in Englewood.

• At 11:27 a.m., a 20-year-old man was shot dead in Auburn Gresham.

In non-fatal shootings:

• At 1:51 a.m. Tuesday, a 24-year-old man was shot in Washington Park, police said. The man was sitting in a front room in the 5900 block of South Calumet Avenue when someone outside the home fired shots at him.

The man was hit in his buttocks and he was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center. His condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

• At 8:34 p.m. Monday, a 27-year-old man was shot in South Deering, police said. The man was in the 9800 block of South Hoxie Avenue when he was shot.

The man took himself to Trinity Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

No further information was immediately available.

• At 2:11 p.m., a 36-year-old man was shot in Washington Park, police said. The man was in the 5100 block of South Prairie Avenue when he was shot in his left arm.

The man was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center in good condition, police said.

No further information was immediately available.

• At 10:58 a.m., a 25-year-old man was shot in Austin, police said. The man was in the 4900 block of West Adams Street when he was shot in his left heel.

The man took himself to Loretto Hospital, where he was in good condition, police said.

• At 10:50 a.m., a 17-year-old was shot in Woodlawn, police said. The teen was on the sidewalk in the 400 block of East 61st Street when someone in a black Chrysler 300 fired shots.

The teen was hit in his lower left leg and he was taken to St. Bernard Hospital in good condition, police said.

No one was in custody in these shootings.
