3 Men Shot Outside Jefferson Park Bar During Fight, Police Say

CHICAGO — A gunman walked out of a Jefferson Park lounge and shot three men involved in a fight on the sidewalk early Sunday morning, police said.

The incident occurred in the 5300 block of North Milwaukee Avenue at 4 a.m., police said. The Tribune reports the men were in front of Zachary's For Cocktails when shots rang out. 

The victims, all men, were on the sidewalk when they began fighting. A person with a gun came out of a lounge and fired shots, police said.

A 30-year-old was taken to Lutheran General Hospital with a gunshot wound to his chest. A 50-year-old man was also taken to Lutheran General Hospital after being shot in his back. A 51-year-old man was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center after being shot in his left thigh.

Police could not immediately provide their conditions but said all three men were "stable."

No one was in custody, police said.
