Johnny Graves, 34, Killed In Austin Shooting; 2 Others Wounded

CHICAGO — Johnny Graves, 34, was killed and two other people were wounded in a shooting last month in Austin, police said. 

The shooting happened at 1:08 a.m. May 21 in the 4900 block of West Hubbard Street. The victims were walking on the block as shots rang out, police said. 

Graves, of west suburban Oak Park, was shot in his chest and pronounced dead at 1:53 a.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office. An autopsy showed he died from multiple gunshot wounds in a homicide.

A 33-year-old man was shot in his left shoulder, and a 23-year-old woman was shot in her left hand. Both were taking to Stroger Hospital. 

No one is in custody.
