CHICAGO — Melvin McCray, 26, died after being shot multiple times in Roseland Wednesday night, officials said.
The incident occurred in the 10200 block of South State Street at 8:04 p.m. Someone with a gun got out of a car and shot the man multiple times, police said.
The man was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center.
McCray, of Posen, was pronounced dead at 8:35 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
No arrests have been made.
