CHICAGO — Shootings have wounded 17 people since Monday, police said.

• At 1:39 a.m. Tuesday, a 27-year-old man was shot in the South Loop during a robbery. At the same time and on the same block, the robbers carjacked another man's BMW.

• At 1:30 a.m., a 28-year-old woman was shot in Marquette Park, police said. The woman was in a car with her boyfriend in the 2500 block of West 73rd Street when three people fired shots at the car.

The driver crashed the car, and the woman, who was a passenger, was shot in her back and twice in her abdomen, police said. The woman was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in serious condition.

• At 1:05 a.m., a 25-year-old man was shot in Austin, police said. Officers were patrolling the 5100 block of West Madison Street when they saw a crowd gathered around the man, who was unresponsive and lying on the ground.

The man had been shot in his head and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition, police said.

The man was a documented gang member, a police source said. The circumstances of the shooting were unknown.

• At 11:34 p.m. Monday, a 24-year-old man was wounded in a drive-by shooting in West Ridge.

• At 11:10 p.m., a 22-year-old man was shot in Chicago Lawn, police said. Officers responding to a call of shots fired found the man lying on the sidewalk in the 6900 block of South Maplewood Avenue.

The man had been shot in his leg and he was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

No further information was immediately available.

• At 10:50 p.m., a 21-year-old woman was shot in Austin, police said. The woman was a passenger in a car in the 800 block of North Lockwood Avenue when someone standing on the sidewalk fired shots.

The woman was hit in her right ankle and taken to West Suburban Hospital, where her condition was not available but she was listed as "stable," police said.

• At 9:40 p.m., a 16-year-old girl was shot in Little Village.

• At 9:30 p.m., a 25-year-old man was shot in Back of the Yards, police said. The man was walking in the street in the 4800 block of South Paulina Street when someone on the sidewalk fired shots at him.

The man was hit in the left side of his abdomen and his chest and was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, police said.

• At 9:27 p.m., a 20-year-old woman and 20-year-old man were shot in Englewood, police said. The two were standing on the sidewalk in the 5500 block of South Shields when two boys or men came out of a gangway and fired shots.

The man was hit in his right calf and was taken to Stroger Hospital. The woman was hit in her left arm and she took herself to University of Chicago Medical Center before being transferred to Mount Sinai Hospital. Their conditions were not available but they were listed as "stable," police said.

• At 8:35 p.m., a 38-year-old man was shot in Garfield Park, police said. The man was standing in an alley in the 3100 block of West Madison Street when he heard shots and felt pain.

The man was shot in his left shoulder and the right side of his buttocks and he took himself to Stroger Hospital, police said. His condition was not immediately available.

The man was a documented gang member, a police source said.

• At 7:49 p.m., a 16-year-old boy was shot in Garfield Park, police said. The boy was in the 3700 block of West Arthington Street when he was shot in his left thigh.

The boy took himself to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was in good condition, police said.

The boy was a documented gang member, a police source said.

No further information was immediately available.

• At 5:17 p.m., a 25-year-old man was shot in Austin, police said. The man was in the 4900 block of West Potomac Avenue when he was shot in his upper shoulder. A gun was found at the scene.

The man took himself to West Suburban Hospital, where his condition was "stable to serious," police said.

The man was a documented gang member, a police source said.

No further information was immediately available.

• At 4:28 p.m., a 23-year-old man was shot in Back of the Yards, police said. The man was in the 5300 block of South Morgan Avenue when he saw a dark-colored car go by and he heard shots and felt pain.

The man was hit in his thigh, police said. The hospital he was at and his condition were not immediately available.

The man was a documented gang member, a police source said.

• At 3:20 p.m., a 19-year-old man was shot in Back of the Yards, police said. The man was walking near the 1100 block of West 51st Street when four people in a dark-colored Toyota Camry fired shots at the man.

The man was hit in his left knee and taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said. 

The shooters drove away, police said.

• At 1:45 p.m., an 18-year-old man was shot in Humboldt Park.

• At 10:50 a.m., a 24-year-old man was shot in a drive-by in Humboldt Park.

No one was in custody in these shootings.
