Thieves Hitting People, Robbing Them In Pilsen Businesses, Police Say

CHICAGO — Thieves have hit people and robbed them in two recent incidents in Pilsen, police said.

During the robberies, two boys or men walked into a business, walked up to a victim, hit the victim and then took property, according to a Chicago Police business alert.

The robberies occurred:

• 5:50 p.m. April 27 in the 1800 block of South Halsted Street

• 7:57 p.m. May 1 in the 1700 block of South Halsted Street

The robbers were described as two boys or men who were 14-22 years old, black and 5-foot-5, police said. One wore a gray sweatshirt and the other wore a dark blue hooded sweatshirt.
