CHICAGO — Donnell Hudson, 17, was shot dead late Saturday in Roseland, officials said.
At 8:36 p.m., the teen was in the 10500 block of South Lafayette Avenue when someone walked up to him and fired shots, police said. The teen was hit in his chest and his back.
Hudson, of the 10500 block of South Wabash, was pronounced dead at 8:55 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
The shooter ran away, police said, and no one was in custody.
