UPTOWN — A Buddhist temple in the Uptown neighborhood is for sale for $2 million.
Truc Lam Buddhist Temple, 1521 W. Wilson Ave., has seven bedrooms and two meeting rooms, according to its listing on Loopnet.com.
The two-story religious facility has a basement and is a "great redevelopment site," according to the listing.
The building is more than 135 years old, according to Uptown Update.
In the early 1900s, the building was a private membership club with a reception hall, parlor, dance hall, billiard hall and bowling alley. After running into financial problems, it became the Paul Revere Masonic Lodge in 1920, according to the Ravenswood-Lake View Historical Association.
