CHICAGO — A 20-year-old woman was shot in Woodlawn Thursday night, police said.
At 9:43 p.m., the woman was a passenger in a car in the 6300 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue when she heard shots and felt pain, police said.
The woman was hit in her left hand and her right wrist was grazed by a bullet, police said. She was driven to University of Chicago Medicine, where her condition was not available but police said she was listed as "stable."
No one was in custody.
