CHICAGO — A 52-year-old man died in a car crash Sunday night in the South Loop, police said.
About 11:40 p.m., a 25-year-old woman crashed a car near a brick embankment in the 1100 block of South Indiana Avenue, police said. The man and woman were removed from the car and taken to Northwestern Hospital.
The man was pronounced dead at the hospital and the woman was being treated for injuries to her right leg, police said.
It was unknown what happened before the crash, police said, and officers were investigating.
