• At 8 p.m., a 22-year-old woman and 34-year-old man were shot in Belmont Cragin, police said. The two were in an alley in the 2100 block of North Menard Avenue when a black car drove up and someone got out of the car, fired shots and got into the car and drove away.

• At 2:01 p.m., a 16-year-old boy and 19-year-old man were shot in North Lawndale, police said. The two were in the 1900 block of South Harding Avenue when they heard shots and felt pain.
