CHICAGO — A 25-year-old man was found dead at the scene of a hazmat situation Wednesday in Hyde Park, officials said.
At 2:30 a.m., the man was found unresponsive in a room in the 1200 block of East 53rd Street, police said. Officers were conducting a death investigation.
Chicago Fire officials said a three-story building on the block was the scene of a hazmat situation and residents were being evacuated.
