CHICAGO — Back of the Yards has seen at least three robberies since mid-April, police said.
During the robberies, one or two men walked up to the victims and robbed them, police said.
The robberies occurred:
• 7 a.m. April 13 in the 1400 block of West 47th Street
• 11:15 p.m. April 15 in the 4700 block of South Justine Street
• 11:50 a.m. Saturday in the 3900 block of South Ashland Avenue
The thieves were described as one or two black men who were 18-30 years old, 130-160 pounds, 5-foot-7 to 6 feet tall and had brown eyes, police said. One of the men possibly had dreadlocks.
