By Kelly Bauer | April 21, 2017 10:42am | Updated on April 21, 2017 1:09pm

CHICAGO — A man with a pitchfork tattoo by his eye stole a car from a tow truck in Humboldt Park on Friday, police said.

At 3:45 a.m., the driver and a 23-year-old man were in their truck, towing a car, when they stopped at Division Street and Kostner Avenue. While stopped, three men got out of a Kia driving behind the truck and got into the tow truck, police said.

One of the men had a gun, and they told the truck driver to remove the GMC car he'd been towing, police said. The driver released the truck and the men got into the Kia and GMC and drove away.

One of the men was hispanic and had a tattoo of a pitchfork by his eye, police said.

No one was in custody.
