MAGNIFICENT MILE — A 60th-floor Mag Mile penthouse is back on the market for $12 million, making it the ninth most expensive home for sale in the city.

The two-bedroom penthouse at Park Tower, 800 N. Michigan Ave., is custom-made with 12-foot-tall ceilings and includes the Mag Mile tower's tallest balcony (gas grill included), according to the listing.

The 4,000-square-foot condominium also includes a custom master bathroom with a steam shower and heated marble floors, as well as a laundry room with two washers and a dryer.

The condo comes with private elevator access, $3,139 monthly assessments and nearly $75,000 in annual property taxes, according to the listing.

The condo is back on the market after being listed for $12 million in August. The condo is the fourth most expensive unit publicly listed for sale in Chicago, following a $12.95 million penthouse at 9 W. Walton St. and $12.5 million listings in the Waldorf Astoria and the Trump International Hotel & Tower.

The most expensive home for sale in the city is a 25,000-square-foot Lincoln Park mansion sprawled over multiple lots.

Park Tower is home to the luxe Park Hyatt hotel as well as high-rise homes owned by filmmaker George Lucas and hedge fund manager Ken Griffin. It's unclear who owns this 60th-floor condo. Chezi Rafaeli of Coldwell Banker is handling the listing.
