CHICAGO —  Riot Fest announced the second wave of bands playing the annual punk rock fest this summer in Douglas Park.

The second wave of artists include post-hardcore pioneers At the Drive-In and Cap’n Jazz, indie rock duo Best Coast and English punk rock band Cockney Rejects. They join previously announced headliners, including Nine Inch Nails, Wu-Tang, Queens of the Stone Age and a Jawbreaker reunion.

New Order, Paramore, Prophets of Rage, M.I.A., Beastie Boys’ Mike D, Bad Brains and Vic Mensa are also slated to rock the fest. The full lineup is below.

The festival, which runs September 15-17 in Douglas Park, 1401 S. Sacramento Dr., will host more than 100 bands, a carnival, more than 40 food trucks and more.

Riot Fest three-day passes are on sale now for $190 and VIP and layaway options are also available.

Before announcing the lineup, Riot Fest poked fun at online haters: "I'm sorry we didn't book the exact bands you wanted, in the exact order you wanted, in the exact location you wanted, for free."

After a few years of hosting the festival in Denver and Chicago, Riot Fest is sticking with its hometown of Chicago this year. The Denver Post reports the fest there was canceled after the death of Sean McKeough, a founding partner of Riot Fest who played a major role in planning the fest there.
