MORGAN PARK — The Beverly Arts Center will offer an emergency camp for children ages 5-12 should Chicago Public Schools close June 1.

The drop-in camp would run from June 1-9 and would include a mix of art, dance, music and theater classes as well as an educational curriculum.

Registration would occur beginning at 7:30 p.m. each day in the studio theater of the center, 2407 W. 111th St. The camp would cost $30 per day and at least students would have to sign up each day for the camp to be held.

It would run from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. daily. Before and after care would be available beginning at 7:30 a.m. and from 4-5 p.m. — each for a $5 fee. Participants would have to bring their own lunch, drink and morning snack.

For more information, contact Carly Bishop, the center's outreach manager, at carly@beverlyartcenter.org 773-445-3838.
