CHICAGO — Shootings have killed one person and wounded nine since Wednesday, police said.

• At 10:33 a.m. Wednesday, a 26-year-old man was shot to death in Austin.

In non-fatal shootings:

• At 5:10 a.m. Thursday, a 39-year-old man was shot in West Englewood, police said. The man was sitting in a van in the 5900 block of South Loomis Boulevard when a car drove up and someone inside fired shots.

The man was hit in his arm and leg and taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

The man was a documented gang member, a police source said.

• At 12:01 a.m., a 40-year-old man was shot in Brighton Park, police said. The man was standing in a garage in the 4600 block of South Kedzie Avenue when two men walked up and fired shots.

The man was hit in his chest and abdomen and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition, police said.

• At 11:46 p.m. Wednesday, a 23-year-old man was shot in South Deering, police said. The man was walking down the street in the 2400 block of East 107th Street when he heard shots and felt pain.

The man was hit in his leg and taken to Trinity Hospital in good condition, police said.

The man was a documented gang member, a police source said.

• At 10:45 p.m., a 41-year-old man was shot in Grand Boulevard, police said. The man was found in a building lobby in the 500 block of East 42nd Place, shot in his left leg.

The man was taken to Northwestern Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

No further information was immediately available.

• At 9:15 p.m., a 17-year-old was shot in South Shore, police said. The teen was in the 7400 block of South Chappel Avenue when he was shot multiple times.

The teen was taken to Northwestern Hospital in serious condition, police said.

No further information was immediately available.

• At 6:39 p.m., a 16-year-old boy was wounded in a shooting in Ashburn, police said. The boy was in a car in the 7700 block of South Spaulding Avenue when another car pulled up and someone inside fired shots.

The boy's knee was grazed by a bullet and he was taken to Little Company of Mary Hospital, where he was in good condition, police said.

• At 5:01 p.m., a 20-year-old man was shot in Back of the Yards, police said. The man was in the 5400 block of South Winchester Avenue when a gold-colored car pulled up to him and someone inside fired shots.

The man was hit in his knee and took himself to Mount Sinai Hospital, police said. His condition was not available.

• At 3:06 p.m., a 21-year-old man was shot in Austin, police said. The man was in the 5000 block of West Jackson Boulevard when someone in a silver-colored car pulled up to him and fired shots.

The man was hit in his leg and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.

• At 1:03 p.m., a 32-year-old man was shot in Garfield Park, police said. The man was driving in the 100 block of North Kedzie Avenue when a green car pulled alongside him and someone inside fired shots.

The man was hit in his arm and he took himself to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.

No one was in custody in these shootings.
