UNIVERSITY VILLAGE — University Village families are invited to enjoy an Easter egg hunt in the neighborhood Saturday.
University Village Neighborhood Alliance will host the 2nd annual Eggstravaganza at the UIC athletic fields at Morgan and 14th Place Saturday morning. The event is also hosted by University Village Commons, University Village Lofts and University Village neighbors.
Families should arrive at 8:45 a.m. Saturday and the egg hunt will begin at 9:15 a.m., followed by refreshments. The Easter bunny will also be hopping around the field for photos with children.
Families are asked to bring their own baskets and RSVP to the event to ensure there are enough eggs for children. Participating kids will have to fill out a waiver ahead of the egg hunt.
The egg hunt will be divided by three age groups: ages 0-2, 3-4 and 5 and up.
