CHICAGO — Shootings have killed one person and wounded six since Wednesday, police said.

• At 11:13 p.m. Wednesday, a 37-year-old man was shot to death in South Chicago.

In non-fatal shootings:

• At 12:29 a.m. Thursday, a 23-year-old woman was shot in Humboldt Park. She was seriously wounded.

• At 12:09 a.m., a 24-year-old man was shot in Austin, police said. The man was walking on the sidewalk in the 5400 block of West Walton Street when he heard shots and felt pain.

The man was hit in his left ankle and was taken to West Suburban Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

• At 6:37 p.m. Wednesday, a 23-year-old man was shot in Austin, police said. The man was in a car in the 5100 block of West Chicago Avenue when he was shot in his back and arm.

The man took himself to West Suburban Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

• At 6:23 p.m., a 16-year-old boy was shot in Roseland, police said. The boy was in the 11000 block of South Edbrooke Avenue when someone walked up and fired shots.

The boy was hit in his torso and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in critical condition, police said.

• At 12:32 p.m., a 35-year-old man was shot in Washington Park, police said. The man was standing in the 5100 block of South Indiana Avenue when someone in a red Monte Carlo pulled up and fired shots at the man.

The man was hit in the right side of his neck and taken to Northwestern Hospital in critical condition, police said.

• At 11:07 a.m., a 26-year-old man was shot in Roseland, police said. The man was standing outside in the 11100 block of South Parnell Avenue when someone walked up and fired shots.

The man was hit in his leg and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

No one was in custody in these shootings.
