CHICAGO — The Six Corners Association is calling on neighbors to roll up their sleeves and get dirty for this year's Spring Clean Up & Art Dedication on Saturday.

At 9 a.m., volunteers will meet for coffee and doughnuts and pick up cleaning supplies at Filament Theatre, 4041 N. Milwaukee Ave. From there, they'll scour the Six Corners Shopping District to clean sidewalks, pick up trash and take on some light landscaping.

Participants are encouraged to wear work gloves and anything else they wouldn't mind scuffing up.

The yearly cleanup event, which typically draws more than 50 volunteers, is "a great way to get involved in the community and boost the neighborhood’s overall attractiveness for residents, customers, and visitors," according to the event description.

Participants will also get a coupon for a $3 burger with fries and a drink from MCM Pub & Eatery, 3906 N. Cicero Ave.
