CHICAGO — Shootings have killed one person and wounded four since Monday, police said.

• At 4:16 p.m. Monday, a 24-year-old man was shot and killed in Roseland.

In non-fatal shootings:

• Most recently, at 2:35 a.m. Tuesday, a 29-year-old man was shot in Back of the Yards, police said. The man was a passenger in a car driving in the 5200 block of South Carpenter Street when he was shot.

The man was shot in his right leg and taken to Holy Cross Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

The man was a documented gang member, a police source said.

• At 7:51 p.m. Monday, a 17-year-old was shot in Belmont Cragin, police said. The teen was in the 5900 block of West Diversey Avenue when he was shot in his hip.

The teen was taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

No further information was immediately available.

• At 1:45 p.m., a 35-year-old man was shot in Park Manor, police said. The man was in the 6800 block of South Keefe Avenue when someone with a gun got out of a car and tried to rob the man.. 

The robber fired the gun, hitting the man in his hand, police said. The man took himself to St. Bernard Hospital in good condition.

• At 9:30 a.m., a 21-year-old man was shot in Little Village while walking to the Cook County Criminal Courthouse.

No one was in custody in these shootings unless otherwise noted.
