CHICAGO — A 27-year-old man was shot and wounded during a robbery in Bridgeport on Tuesday night, police said.
At 7 p.m., the man was in the 3000 block of South Keeley Street when two men armed with a gun walked up to him and started to rob him, police said.
The victim struggled with the men, and one of the robbers fired a shot, hitting the victim in his leg, police said.
The victim took himself to Mercy Hospital in good condition, police said.
No one was in custody.
The incident was the only reported shooting Tuesday.
