CHICAGO — A bus and truck crashed on the Dan Ryan in Englewood on Tuesday, sending 12 people to the hospital, officials said.
About 11 a.m., the bus and a truck used for moving dumpsters crashed on the southbound Dan Ryan near West 64th Street, Fire Department officials said on Twitter. The Dan Ryan was down to one lane as off 11:30 a.m.
The driver of the bus was trapped but freed and taken to a hospital in serious condition, officials said. Overall, 12 people were taken to hospitals.
