CHICAGO — Shootings have wounded two people since Monday, police said.

• Most recently, at 6:28 p.m. Monday, a 22-year-old man was shot in Chatham, police said. The man was the passenger in a car in the 8000 block of South Harvard Avenue when a black car drove up and someone in the car fired shots.

The man was hit in his lower back and arm. He took himself to St. Bernard Hospital and was transferred to Stroger Hospital in critical condition.

• At 1:06 p.m., a man was shot in Austin, police said. The man was walking in an alley in the 500 block of North Lavergne Avenue when someone got out of an SUV and fired shots at him.

The man was hit in his right hand and the left part of his groin and taken to Loyola Hospital in fair condition, police said.

• Also, a man took himself to the hospital on Monday and said he had been shot about 7:30 p.m. Sunday in West Pullman. The man was walking in the 11900 block of South Lowe Avenue when he heard shots. He was hit in his foot and later took himself to the hospital.

No further information was immediately available.

No one was in custody in these shootings.
