Beyond Books, What Else Do You Want From The Library? Take This Survey

LINCOLN SQUARE — Libraries may have been founded to provide the masses with access to books, but they've long since gone beyond that early mission.

To better serve its patrons, the Chicago Public Library is conducting a survey that will help guide programming at its dozens of branches.

The brief online survey assesses current levels of use — how often people visit their neighborhood branch, etc. — and quizzes patrons about the types of programs and services they'd like to see more of and consider most valuable.
