At 12:50 a.m., the woman was inside a home in the 7500 block of South Prairie Avenue when she got into an argument with a girl and the girl grabbed a knife and stabbed the woman, police said.

The woman was stabbed multiple times in her left arm and was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, police said.
