CHICAGO — Shootings killed five people and wounded 15 over the weekend, police said.

There has been just one shooting since Sunday: At 7:01 p.m., a 25-year-old man was wounded in a shooting in Austin, police said. The man was in the 6800 block of West North Avenue when a car drove up to him and a man or boy inside the car fired shots.

The victim's chest was grazed by a bullet and he was taken to Loyola Medical Center in good condition, police said.

Shootings killed three people and wounded nine between Saturday and Sunday, and two people were killed and five wounded in shootings Friday to Saturday.
