ANDERSONVILLE — Hallie Borden, founder of the Andersonville womenswear boutique Milk Handmade, is teaming up with her sister Dana for her newest venture — a bridal shop.

The sisters will open Honey in the storefront next to Milk Handmade, 5137 N. Clark St., the team announced on social media Thursday.

"Honey is a modern wedding shop where you are free to be exactly who you are. We stock dresses and separates that range from understated and untraditional to full-on ball gown," according to the Facebook post.

The duo that bills themselves as "complete opposites" yet "exactly the same" hope to bring "a fresh take on bridal to Chicago," according to Milk Handmade's Facebook post.

Dana hails from the wedding industry, while Hallie is a former corporate marketing professional, who opened Milk Handmade in 2012, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Honey is expected to open in Andersonville this summer.
