CHICAGO — Rolan Johnson, 36, was shot to death in Roseland on Saturday night, officials said.
At 10:33 p.m., the man was driving in the 9500 block of South State Street when he stopped at a light, police said. Officers in the area heard shots and went to the car, where they found the man had been shot in his chest, neck and head.
Johnson, of the 7600 block of South Prairie Avenue, was pronounced dead at 10:41 p.m. at the scene, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.
No one was in custody.
