CHICAGO — Shootings have killed one person and wounded eight since Saturday, police said.

• At 1:20 a.m. Sunday, an 18-year-old man was shot to death in East Side. Another man was wounded in the attack.

In non-fatal shootings:

• At 11:49 p.m. Saturday, a 25-year-old man was shot in the Near West Side, police said. The man was in the 300 block of South Damen Avenue when he was shot in his right knee.

The man took himself to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," police said.

The man refused to give any other information, a police source said.

• At 6 p.m., a 38-year-old man was shot in Woodlawn, police said. The man was in the 6200 block of South Rhodes Avenue when he heard shots and felt pain.

The man was hit in his chest, face and abdomen and took himself to University of Chicago Medical Center, police said. He was transferred to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition.

• At 8:06 a.m., three people were shot in South Shore, police said. The three were in a black car in the 7400 block of South Baldwin Avenue when they fired shots at people in a black Chevy Tahoe and someone in the Chevy Tahoe fired shots at them.

A 15-year-old girl was shot in her buttocks and taken to Northwestern Hospital, where her condition was not available but she was listed as "stable," police said. A 20-year-old man had his cheek grazed by a bullet and was taken to a hospital in unknown condition. A 39-year-old man was hit in his right arm and taken to Northwestern Hospital in good condition.

One person was in custody with charges pending, police said.

The 20-year-old man and 39-year-old man are documented gang members, a police source said.

• At 7:21 a.m., two men were shot near the border of Belmont Cragin and Portage Park.
